fair trade clothing may offer health benefits to children who ordinarily suffer from asthma, eczema or allergies

A group of eco-conscious mothers have started their own clothing line and it has already been locally and internationally recognized, according to ThisIsLincolnshire.co.uk.

Lydna Martin, Donna Hawks and Hannah White are the leaders of the project, which is called Mpenzi and is focused on designing ethical clothing for children aged anywhere from six months to eight years.

Martin told the news source that all of the garments were made to be as environmentally-friendly as possible. The ambitious seamstresses encourage customers to send materials to them, so the items may be incorporated into recycled clothing.

“Mpenzi clothing is both fashionable and ethical, catering for both boys and girls,” Martin told the news provider.

Mothers who are concerned about the environment and its impact on children may have an increasing number of optionsavailable to them.

In fact, the clothing label Sama Baby is also fighting to design children’s clothes that are eco-friendly. These Indian-made, organic cotton garments are certified by fair trade organizations and the company’s website claims that no bleach or toxic dye is used in their production.

SamaBaby.com explains that, for this reason, fair trade clothing may offer health benefits to children who ordinarily suffer from asthma, eczema or allergies. ADNFCR-2995-ID-19912738-ADNFCR
